Greetings in the Lord, on this 13th Sunday in Ordinary time. My Condolences to all those who have lost their dear ones. May all those souls rest in eternal peace Amen! Abundant blessings and prayers for all the sick. Courage, know that we are with you even if you are not able to come to Church for now due to the current situation of COVID 19.
Last Weekend we reflected on the need to overcome fear, especially the fear of the unknown but to trust and stand firm in our faith knowing that God is bigger than all the challenges and does not abandon us at all.
Today it is a similar theme of being steadfast disciples/stewards of the Lord because God will reward us at the end of time. So my brothers and sisters do not grow tired of doing good all will be rewarded. Even encouraging and helping our weak brothers and sisters in any way we can.
On that note allow me to re- emphasize the message of our Bishop and the scientists in coping with this current pandemic. Please wear your masks at gatherings with different people, hand sanitize and also wash your hands with soap. You will not only be caring for yourself but also others. So it is Christian to care for others; and indeed God will reward us.i appeal especially to my parishioners to follow this because I love all of you and I do not want to carelessly lose you.
So do not get offended if I meet you in a grocery and remind you about your mask if you are not wearing one; if it is for health reasons that is understandable but I will love that we lead by example as great stewards of the Lord. Come to Church with your mask on please and if you have forgotten one, we shall be more than happy to give you one as you come in. If there is anyone who wants to offer us some extra more masks please you are welcome.
Stay safe you are all in my prayers and please keep me in your prayers too! God is good all the time and all the time God is good and that is his nature wow! We shall overcome this situation some day. Stay safe, be hopeful and be careful.
Love and prayers,
