Title: Director of Youth Ministry
FLSA Status: Nonexempt
Supervisor: Parish Manager
Job Summary: Position directs junior and senior high school youth ministry and performs duties that include selecting, coaching and counseling volunteer staff, managing program budgets and providing an atmosphere conducive to learning needs and styles of parish youth.
Essential Functions:
· Plans curriculum, creates schedules, organizes activities and performs all tasks required to develop and foster successful youth ministry programs.
· Represents parish at diocese youth ministry office meetings, continuing education programs, conferences and workshops.
· Notifies parish youth and families about deanery and diocese sponsored events and coordinates involvement for parish families.
· Organizes and implements youth ministry special events and fundraisers that include but are not limited to regular meetings, Respect Life events, SEARCH, CYM diocesan convention, Steubenville Youth Conference, Alive in You, and special projects to support those in need.
· Works to ensures adult volunteers who assist with and support this ministry comply with the diocesan safe environment requirements.
· Selects and evaluates volunteer staff, conducts meetings with volunteers, and resolves student discipline issues.
· Counsels families and students about issues that affect student well-being, behavior and/or academic success.
· Prepares youth ministry budgets, analyzes revenue and program cost data and determines budget priorities.
· Communicates youth ministry curriculum through public speaking opportunities.
· Informs Pastoral Council about youth ministry activities through monthly reports.
· Attends meetings as directed by the pastor.
· Maintains confidentiality of information that is privileged.
· Performs other duties as assigned by the pastor.
Qualifications:
· Practicing Catholic in good standing with the church.
· Demonstrated commitment and knowledge of Catholic religious values and education.
· Strong knowledge and understanding of sacraments.
· Ability to organize teaching material and plan and manage events.
· Teaching background and/or experience desirable.
· Interpersonal skills to interact professionally and effectively with a wide audience that includes teens, parents and peers.
· Discipline to strictly implement safe environment requirements for volunteers.
· Strong administrative, presentation and organization skills and ability to tackle multiple projects.
· Ability to interact positively and professionally with a diverse parish community.
Working Conditions:
· Maintain a flexible work schedule averaging 40 hours per week, including evening, weekends, and special occasions.
· Weekend and evening availability required to oversee youth activities and events.
· Office and classroom work environment.
· Attendance required at youth field trips, events, workshops and retreats.
· Ability to maintain core office hours at parish during work week as directed by pastor.

Title: Director of Faith Formation
FLSA Status: Nonexempt
Supervisor: Parish Manager
Job Summary: Position is responsible for organizing and developing all religious formation in the parish. This includes faith formation for grades Pre-K through 8th, as well as adult faith formation and RCIA. Position is also responsible for duties that include coordinating liturgical celebrations for Confirmation, First Communion and First Reconciliation, as well as selecting, training and supervising volunteer staff, managing program budgets and student enrollment, and providing an atmosphere conducive to learning needs and styles of the parish. Position also plans and hosts Summer VBS program, including enrollment, obtaining volunteers, set up and take down.
Essential Functions: Creates and supports teams of catechists and empowers them to manage various faith formation programs. This includes planning curriculum, creating schedules, organizing activities and performing all tasks required to develop and foster successful faith formation programs in consultation with the pastor.
· Coordinates required education and liturgical celebrations of First Communication, First Reconciliation, and Confirmation.
· Recruits and directs volunteer staff from the entire parish community, conducts staff meetings as needed, and resolves student discipline issues.
· Counsels families and students about issues that affect student well-being, behavior and/or academic success and informs the pastor of counseling for support and guidance.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Title: Maintenance Technician
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Parish Manager
Job Summary: Position performs internal and external building repairs, and general grounds maintenance.
Essential Functions:
1. Performs grounds maintenance duties us such as tree trimming, and tree stump removal as assigned.
2. Responds to Repairs/Maintenance Requests in a timely manner.
3. Identifies necessary internal and external building repairs.
4. Submits written documentation outlining necessary repairs to Parish Manager.
5. Completes internal and external building repairs, as assigned.
6. Moves equipment and furniture for relocation of offices, cleaning, and rearrangement; assembles and repairs furniture.
7. Sets up facilities as necessary, tables, chairs, etc., for various meetings, ministries, and functions.
8. Completes plumbing maintenance tasks and advises Parish Manager when services of an outside expert are necessary.
9. Completes electrical maintenance tasks and advises Parish Manager when services of an outside expert are necessary.
10. Performs required work on drains and fixtures.
11. Installs and repairs doors, windows, screens and locks as needed.
12. Replaces bulbs as needed and/or makes necessary repairs to fixtures.
13. Replaces HVAC filters, as required.
14. Plunges toilets and drains when necessary.
15. Cleans and rebuilds traps and strainers.
16. Provides painting services including room preparation, paint mixing and clean-up.
17. Performs grounds and maintenance repair tasks at all parish buildings as assigned.
18. Maintains and routinely cleans church vehicle and maintenance storage building.
19. Collects and disposes of trash as assigned.
20. Picks up various supplies, parts and building materials, and other items, and delivers to appropriate locations as assigned.
21. Collects recycling and takes to Recycle Center.
22. Has keys made, as assigned.
23. Obtains Parish Manager/Principal approval for all purchases, prior to purchase being made.
24. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Valid Arkansas driver’s license and clean driving record.
· Ability to safely perform physical work and heavy lifting.
· Ability to safely operate power tools.
· At least (2) years vocational training preferred with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry experience.
· Experience operating lawn and maintenance equipment (riding mower, etc.) and safely operating power tools.
· Practicing Catholic in good standing with the church.
Working Conditions:
· Scheduled for 40 hours per week.
· Physical labor indoors and outdoors.
· Some evening and weekend hours occasionally required.
